Let us pray ...

+ For the Universal Church, in  all places, that it may be engaged in God's Mission of peace, justice and  reconciliation

+ For the hungry, the needy, those who are  losing their homes and their jobs.  Let us pray for  those who are losing hope,  that they may receive what they need, daily bread and daily  encouragment

+ For the children of Claremont  and the world, that we may do our best to protect them all from all harm

+ For our beloved dead, and for those whose  lives are known to God alone, that they may sing God's praises with the Saints  in light.

+ Let us pray for those in particular need ...  the children of Ferguson and Palestine,  a sick mother, struggling teachers and students, a weary grandfather, widows and orphans and those whose lives have been flooded with tears.

+ For those who have particularly asked
for our prayers

O Lord our God, accept the fervent prayers of your people; in the multitude of your mercies,   look with  compassion upon us and upon all who turn to you for help, for you are gracious  O Lover of Souls, and to you we give glory, Father,  Son and Holy Spirit.  Amen
