Trinity is a parish of the Episcopal Diocese of New Hampshire

Founded in 1842 the sanctuary was built in 1852 in the Stick Gothic Style, with its structure supporting  beautiful windows and the prayers of generations of faithful worshipers.   It was the seat of the first bishop of the Diocese of New Hampshire, the Rt. Rev. Carlton Chase.

Our most recent windows  feature Sophia and her Daughter Hope and  St. Clement, the patron of stone masons and quarrymen.  The St Clement window was installed in 2010.

In September of 2015 Trinity Episcopal Church and Prince of Peace Lutheran Church joined together to begin a joint ministry in downtown Claremont.  The joint ministry officially concluded with the closure of Prince of Peace on December 31, 2020.  The congregations have decided to continue to meld their traditions together creating worship experiences that honor both Lutheran and Episcopal traditions.
